I'm the New Helsinkian who fell in love with this city (and a Helsinkian a little way back) in 2012. One year later decided to participate in the famous Erasmus scholarships and got one spot in Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences to study Hotel Management. I loved it there! And I am missing it so much... 

I've recently graduated in Hospitality and Tourism Management and yes, I feel quite anxious and excited about getting my first job! (tho the offer hasn't arrived quite yet - which keeps me on my toes all the time) I have always wanted to work in my field, ever since 15 y.o. though I had a hard time deciding between other passions at the time I would've probably wanted to follow, Dentistry.

But here I am! Looking forward to be a HelsinGEEK (love that, huh? #helsinGEEK) and try it all out here in Helsinki and share my insights when comes about travelling since I've always thought the city has a huge potential despite the less attention given in comparison with the other Nordic capitals. That's gotta change! I love this city, its people, food, culture, bohemian vibe, forest, sea, fortress and cozy cafés among the other million things left to discover!
